I want to tell you about an inspiring human being I had the pleasure to sit down and talk to. Jill Prescott is an inspiration for the people who are struggling to leave their everyday jobs so they can follow their passion and do what they are really called to do and be of service to others.
In this interview shot by my team at Voice of The Entrepreneur, Jill talks about her childhood and teenage years. She was sexually abused by the people she had trusted. She carried those wounds throughout her life. Until one day she decided to follow her spiritual calling, leave her stable job as a finance manager and start healing herself and others.
Today Jill is a TEDx speaker, spiritual healer, coach, writer and an amazing human being that has helped thousands if not potentially millions through her work.
She suggests that In order to be successful at doing what you love doing you have to:
1. Remember that it’s not an overnight thing. It takes time, hard work, and learning from your mistakes.
2. Seek help. Reach out to people who you admire, ask for help, get a coach, ask for support from your friends.
3. Stay with it. There will be times when you would wanna quit, but you have to remember why you’re doing what you’re doing and keep going.
