Have you ever wondered what it takes to turn a cause you deeply believe in into a thriving social enterprise? We live in a world where on the name of “providing value” you are likely to find a guru, coach or expert on every corner but to create a cause based business where you help thousands find a meaningful connection to themselves, their loves ones and their community. Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. My guest today Connor Beaton, the founder of ManTalks is just such an entrepreneur who took a cause he knew he had been chosen to champion into a global phenomenon that is changing the lives of men wherever it exists. Connor invites me to talk about
– His role in creating ManTalks and why he decided to take up this cause.
– The state of manhood in the western world.
– How do you turn a cause into a business.
– The steps to creating a social change brand.
– And finally, the key traits he sees successful entrepreneurs must have.
Connor Beaton is the founder of ManTalks, a young powerhouse leader who is taking a very personal cause of building a community self-aware, high-performing, and impactful men global. Personal because Connor like so many men suffered in isolation as he went through the deepest abyss of his young life, seeing that even the closest of his relationships with other men were empty of a deeper connection. He realized that was to be his mission, creating real connection among men who can grow together and are not afraid of inviting vulnerability in their individualconsciousness as part of their collective masculinity. Today Connor is also an international speaker and lifestyle entrepreneur who has grownManTalks to over a dozen cities internationally and has been featured on platforms like Forbes and the Huffington Post. But more than all that he is himself a man of real emotional depth and posses an ability to connect that is more than just on a superficial level. His answers to some of my bold questions were a testament to his determination as a leader.
